Cameron Pilley

Basically born and raised on a squash court, it didn't come as a surprise when he could hit the ball at age 2. He entered his first tournament at age 6, which he won. His parents then bought the local squash club when he was 8. His father Steve coached Cameron from when he could first hit a ball, up until he took up a full time scholarship with the AIS in Brisbane, aged 18. Basically born and raised on a squash court, it didn't come as a surprise when he could hit the ball at age 2. He entered his first tournament at age 6, which he won. His parents then bought the local squash club when he was 8. His father Steve coached Cameron from when he could first hit a ball, up until he took up a full time scholarship with the AIS in Brisbane, aged 18. Geoff Hunt and Rodney Martin were his coaches for the next 5 years in the AIS. As the names suggest, this was a great learning curve for Cameron and he was quickly introduced to full time training - twice a day, 6 days a week. Since 2008, Cameron has been based in The Hague, Netherlands.
