World Open in the land of Cheese

The country which produces a s**t load of cheese and loves the colour orange and is also known as The Netherlands, is hosting the World Open in Rotterdam starting Friday. This tournament is the biggest squash event of the year and it's promises to be an amazing tournament. The first 3 days of the event are free and with the World Open title on the line, all players are aiming to be performing at the peak.

With some interesting results at the last World Series event in Qatar, some of the players' form is a bit all over the place so there could be some upsets early on.

My first match is on Sunday and qualification is Friday and Saturday.

Obviously the Dutch language is a tough one to grasp and after spending a fair chunk of time in the country I have been around the native tongue for a while. But if you think I could speak a bit of Dutch by now you're dreaming. A couple of words here and there. Literally only a couple of words.

If you're making the trip to Holland from abroad, make sure you get stuck into some good Dutch cheese. And if you're Dutch, keep munching away!
