02-05-2011: Squash Match Report - Poly Prep vs. Pingry

Coming off the Brunswick Academy experience, the Poly Prep Boys Team hosted Pingry on Monday, ranked # 31, in the country. Traditionally, Pingry has always defeated Poly Prep Squash comfortably. On Monday, the Blue Devils lost another heartbreaker, falling 4-3. Junior Captain Tim Lasusa, playing in the # 1 spot, battled back from an 0-2 defecit to take his opponent, Senior Michael Sankowich to the brink, before losing 3-2.

The Poly performance against Pingry, however, was their best performance as a team thus far in their season. The Poly team earned the respect of Pingry's players and coach and nearly pulled off the upset.
