Reviews for the Rothenberg Squash Tournament - 2018-Apr-13

If you do have to move a legit 3.5 down to 3.0, they shouldn't be playing the weakest player in the draw. The whole point of squash ratings is to get a fair match. So try to match the lower rated players vs. the lower rated players to give us a chance. Otherwise, its just taking our money and giving it to the better players, i.e. they get 3-5 matches and we get two matches, and not even because we get killed in one of them.

What more can you seek in a spectacular tournament! The matches were well organized, the food spectacular, the beverages abundant, the swag swaggy, and the camaraderie unsurpassed!

An excellent, well-organized tournament. The video footage of amateur games and the pro exhibition matches are very nice touches.

The Rothenberg Tournament is getting better each year. You can't go hungry or thirsty playing in the tournament... good food and drinks are provided. High caliber pro draw, balanced number of women and men players in multiple divisions, and you can count on your match time to start on time or within 15 minutes of posted schedule. A relaxed social environment prevails through-out the weekend. I look forward each year to be part of this wonderful and fun weekend of squash.

I had an amazing time at The Rothenberg Squash Tournament! The event was fantastic and the volunteer team was super friendly. I got to play 4 matches (min 3 as guaranteed) and I met a lot of great squash players along the way. The food was great and the pro matches were even better. It was like a dinner and a movie! I learned a lot from watching the other matches, especially the higher level ones. I am definitely coming back and I love how the proceed is going to a great cause. LOVE IT!

For me this is the best tournament of the season in the NYC area ! Great venue and atmosphere with pro matches and a pro shop. Very well organized (Corey and his team are amazing). There is food and beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic) . There are also pictures and videos of the event which makes it more special. Looking forward for the next one next year!

Have stricter enforcement of players playing in their correct respective divisions. Ex: a 3.5 player shouldn’t be playing is the 3.0 division.
