Before coming to Vassar in 2000-01, Parker spent the past five years as the director of squash for the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association. During her tenure, she guided the men's under-19 squad to its highest finish at the 1998 World Championships.

In her native England, Parker coached several boys' and girls' national teams. She enjoyed tremendous success with the under-19 and under-16 teams. The former won the 1998 European championships and the latter took three Home International event titles.

Parker also served as coach and Regional Development Officer with the English Squash Rackets Association. Besides her coaching responsibilities, she introduced mini-squash to attract novices to the sport.

As a player, she finished her career as the No. 16 player in England and No. 34 in the world while becoming the Kent County champion.

She also coaches the women's squash team.
