POLY PREP HOSTS US SQUASH BOYS UNDER 17 REGIONAL TRAINING SQUADS
As a part of the development of the US Squash Junior Men’s National Team, Poly Prep hosted the Boys Under 17 NY Regional Squad on May 18th, 2013, at the Dresher Family Courts. This event featured many of the top ranked American players including the current US U 17 National Champion and was run by U.S. National Team Member, Gilly Lane and Egyptian, Mostafa Essam.
This was an exciting opportunity for Poly Prep to host such a prestigious event and it was great to see many of the top players in the region train and compete at such a high level.
This was the first time that Poly Prep hosted an event of this caliber and is very closely aligned with the goals of the Poly Prep Squash program to be one of the pre-eminent centers of excellence within the sport of squash and something we hope to host more of in the future.
